Increasing in intensity overnight to 105 mph winds, Hurricane Sandy is headed toward the Bahamas and on track to “brush southeast Florida,” according to the Washington Post, and eventually hit the East Coast–in the form of a tropical depression in a wide “cone,” anywhere from Delaware to Boston by Monday evening. Strong wind, heavy rain, and a possible storm surge are the potential concerns to Chesapeake sailors.
