The Back Creek YC Lobster Fest, starring 1.5 pounders, ripe-red freshly-sliced tomatoes, corn on the cob, potato salad, and myriad options for dessert (included a cake for Sam Bassett celebrating his 91st birthday) brought 80 members, families, and guests to Wally and Molly Stone’s house on Crab Creek off the South River on August 3-4.

Next morning, a hearty breakfast was expertly produced by Flip, Flop, and Drop (only one omelet failed to rejoin the pan).  August 17 was a raftup on Harris Creek at Waterhole Cove, (near Dun Cove), hosted by Fleet Captain Richard and Michelle Sanger, who led a short walk to the Tiki Bar at Lowes Wharf Marina Restaurant on the Bay side of Tilghman Island for an afternoon and evening of music and food following a conch horn celebration at sundown.

Our Labor Day Weekend Cruise started August 31sailing to the Miles River Yacht Club, St. Michael's, MD, to enjoy a KANSAS BBQ, ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, and fruit salad, followed by a poetry reading (sharing of favorite poems).  Sunday will be partaking either of bushels of fabulous, succulent, fat, Old Bay Steamed Crabs from Chesapeake Landing, or a grilled Angus Burger, Jumbo Hot Dog, both with coleslaw, a caprese side salad, and all the fixings.  Join us for interesting events by wonderful people who enjoy either sailing or motoring to fun locations boats, who love being on the water.
