Day 2 of 3 teaching ASA101. The wind was crazy! We started in the morning with a reefed main and jib - blowing 15. It abated by lunchbto 6 knots or so. It continued to drop to 1 knot. Went to 7, then 20, then back down in a matter of two hours.

It was rainy and cold but no boat traffic in Annapolis. My phone went overboard.
Ran the rhib to photograph some Rainbows then went sailing. Spent a lot of time watching how one person could refloat a sunken rainbow.
Sailed a Rainbow this afternoon. The wind died after an hour and we had to get towed back to the Sailing School. I counted 14 ships at anchor. The Pilot boat left Back Creek later that day and one boat sailed under the bridge. I guess they were headed for Sparrows Point.
I was invited to sail with The New Annapolis Sailors Meetup Club today on Mackinac. We had a great crew and a great time. We mostly sailed among the anchored tankers in Annapolis.
I had Instructor training at the Annapolis Sailing School today. We sailed for two hours under perfect conditions. I love when we are the only boats on the water.
Sailed with friends for a few hours on his 31' Seafarer, Asp. The winda were light si got a bit nervous that we would have to pole our way home. Asp does not have an engine.
2/11/24 Sailed with friends in Annapolis noon to 3:30.
