Lynn and Dave joined us for a three day cruise to the Eastern Shore.
Monday:
A delightful sail to Dividing Creek off the Wye River Winds 10-12 knots from the north resulted in an easy going downwind leg in the bay followed by a fast close reach in Eastern Bay, and two tacks in the Wye River. Some rain along the way but not too cold. Pasta dinner topped the evening.
Tuesday:
Light and variable wind all day with cloudy skies. We motored to St. Michael's for lunch and a walk around town. We met Sara, one of our good CSSM friends. Our final night was spent in Tilghman Creek after determining we could find our way out if the tide wasn't too low. Another awesome dinner followed by game night and dancing on Mystic.
Wednesday:
We awoke to thick fog and deployed our radar reflector. Visibility was about 1/4 mile so we stay at 4 knots until the fog lifted about halfway down Eastern Bay. Another day of cloudy weather and lack of wind but comfortable temperatures and good company. A fun time was had by all.
