It's the best party of the spring! The annual SpinSheet Crew Party happens on Sunday, matching up hundreds of sailors with skippers. But besides a bunch of sailors, what do you get at the party?
Well, free rum? Does that entice you? No? Still thinking about what else you have going on on Sunday evening?
How about a live steel drum band, the Geckoes? Local clubs will also be there to try to entice you to get out on the water. Along with the rum, there will also be free beer, which is the best kind. And finally, there will be tons and tons of sailing talk. After the crappy spring we've had weather-wise, it's nice to talk about sailing, don't you think?
New and returning sailors may come an hour early, from 3-4 p.m., for our Start Sailing Now Q&A where you can chat with local sailing experts and people who want to be local sailing experts. No matter who you're talking to, you'll find a way to get into the sport this season.
This is all free! And NOTHING is ever free, right? But this is totally free! You may even end up taking home one of these great free sailing magazines we put out. They're worth their weight in gold.
