Longtime Annapolis yacht broker Paul Rosen died April 22 following a long battle with cancer. His friends at Annapolis Yacht Sales (AYS) write: "It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce that Paul passed away."
"A yacht broker at AYS for 22 years, Paul was an integral member of the AYS family. He will be remembered for his professionalism, integrity, and the lasting friendships he developed in the many years he devoted to the sailing industry. He was a true gentleman and will be dearly missed by us all."
Paul actually started his career as a photographer and continued that passion throughout his life. On their Facebook page, the folks at AYS also noted that Paul was their company photographer and the one to set up the camera and run to get into the group shot, which explains why they are always laughing in such photos.
In his honor, AYS will be participating in The Hospice Cup XXXII, America's largest charity regatta, on Saturday, September 21 in Annapolis.
Here is the obituary from the Capital.
We at SpinSheet would like to extend our condolences to his wife Diane.
