This is not your father's sail loft!
18-20 km of tape alone go into making one sail for the Volvo 65s. That is pretty staggering. In this video a VOR spokesperson takes a look at the North Sails sail loft in Nevada where all the magic (well, a lot of the magic) happens.
We definitely miss the presence of Ken Read in this year's VOR, so perhaps this video is his way of saying he's still a big part of the show.
