Club Crabtowne Takes Adventurous Trip to Cape May

Club Crabtowne members on Cape May ferry

Recently members of Club Crabtowne took an adventurous trip to Cape May, NJ. On the hot and sunny first day of the trip, two of us went to the beach, and one swam in the ocean. Saturday’s clouds and occasional drizzle were refreshing.  We took an enjoyable and scenic bicycle ride around the docks and boardwalk, the lighthouse park, the Victorian shopping precinct, residences, and the Physiks tea shop. Sunday we had to return to Lewes, DE, by ferry in the pelting rain and high winds and waves, which made for quite a rough ride, but didn't dampen our spirits.

Our club is now planning some sailing trips for the summer and a cruise to Canada in the fall.
