It was a little scary to hear first thing today that 51-year old Robert Suhay, the Laser sailor attempting the record-breaking 300-nm sail from Norfolk to Pooles Island near Chestertown, hadn't made radio contact for 24 hours. Luckily, a USCG member call reported that Suhay had been spotted at 5:30 a.m. at the mouth of the Potomac. The noon update was by a mariner who spotted his Laser sail #168317 passing the Choptank.
