On April 12, 2014 over 70 Corinthian members and guests, mostly from the Annapolis and Philadelphia Fleets, emerged from their winter caves to kick-off the upcoming sailing season in traditional Corinthian style with a member/guest cocktail party at the Federal House in downtown Annapolis. Adult beverages flowed freely as did conversation about all things nautical and otherwise.
Annapolis Fleet Captain, Julian Bigden, together with event organizer and Membership Chairman, Neil Ross, made a brief presentation on the history of the organization and the requirements for membership. Past Fleet Captain, John Pasley, provided details of the upcoming week long Chesapeake Bay Spring Cruise scheduled to begin on May 17 and for which over 25 boats have signed up.
