Was helm on day one, first time driving on a weekend event in 12+ years. Avita was 2/3/2 for second place, not bad day rubbing off the rust. (substitute driver, owner was attending a memorial service),

Crossing the line ahead of Tripp 62 Chessie Racing was a thrill. The tack was a bit earlier than we wanted (extreme foul current and very little wind). But we needed to get on starboard before they could roll by. The wind gods were good to us and we cleared the mark with at least 6" to spare.
