If you haven't seen her already the 12 Metre Easterner is on currently on display at the Annapolis Waterfront & Sailing Center in Downtown Annapolis, MD.
Built in June 1958, Easterner was entered in the 1958, 1962 and 1964 defender trials for the 17th and 18th America’s Cup. In 2018, Scott Bernard of Annapolis purchased her and has created the non-profit Easterner Foundation to operate the boat. The Easterner Foundation is proud to partner with the Annapolis Waterfront and Sailing Center to support their educcation programs until October. She will be participating in Pop-Up Sailing Camps and Outreach programs which have been undertaken in cooperation with the Annapolis Mayor’s office.
