Here's how it works!
- Track your days. Keep track on SpinSheet's online Century Club page. Click on "log your days" above to get started. All Century Club members must log their days here on the website by December 31. (This is more easily done on a PC than a mobile device). It's a good idea to keep up with your log and/or keep another version of it on a spreadsheet in case you forget or don't have easy access to a computer. It's permissible to log your days in "batches" (once per month, for example). We will need dates of every day spent on the water. If you have questions or trouble logging days, email [email protected].
- It's not just about sailing. Go windsurfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, powerboating, anything that involves watercraft. Count days on other peoples' boats. Swimming, however, does not count. You must leave the dock on a boat for it to count.
- It's not just about the Bay. Test other waters. It's summer vacation, after all.
- Bonus days: boat work days, remote control boats, and fishing from a pier or ice fishing: We allow up to 10 days of boat maintenance to count as "on-water" days (even if your boat is on the hard), OR you may count up to 10 days of remote control sailing or powerboat racing, OR you may count up to 10 days of fishing from a pier or ice fishing, OR a combination of all of those. These are bonus days you tack on at the year's end, for example, if you've only logged 90 on-water days; you may use the bonus days to reach 100. We only allow 10 "exception" days per year.
- Just get the boat off the dock. Even a short boat ride counts as a "day" on the water, so go take that short boat ride. Ferry, dinghy, and water taxi rides count.
Count your days from January 1 through December 31. To officially join the club, create your account and begin logging your days. On social media, tag your photos with #spinsheet100.
