We were recently contacted by Stiv Wilson of The 5 Gyres Institute.
He's working with a colleague from Trash Free Maryland to do some plastic sampling in Chesapeake Bay during the second week of November. They have a grant for the work, but are looking for a sailor with a sailboat about 30 feet or longer who would be interested in helping with our data collection. We are planning about four days of sampling, returning to port every night.
