A week ago today, a few of our friends were struck indirectly by lightning as they were returning from mapping out a paddleboard course. Both men sustained injuries and were in comas following the shock but have since come out and are recovering. A sobering event like this serves as a reminder for all Bay enthusiasts to be safe and take necessary precautions when faced with potentially dangerous situations.
