We'll be the first to admit: we have plenty of bags made of sail cloth. But this one really caught our eye.
727 Sailbags is a French boutique shop that buys sails from the more prestigious races, then cuts 'em up and makes purses, wallets, duffels, and totes. They're all authenticated, too. So of course, it was only a matter of time before they bought up the AC72's sails (I know - they were wings! What sails???) and made them into shoulder bags.
The screenshot above shows the bags available from the actual company. But if the Euro pricing makes your head hurt, you can check out North37, a San Francisco-based shop that is selling two models for good old American dollars. We have to admit - the shirt in the upper left is pretty cool. Might be worth busting out the high school French to find out if it's still available...
It looks like due to copyright, branding, or something else involving a bunch of lawyers, they can't mention the actual boat, race, or really much of anything. But it's crazy clear that this is the real deal.
