Banque Populaire is gearing up for the start of the Vendee Globe with a brand new boat - a monohull with the ability to foil.
The Banque Populaire VIII, skippered by Armel Le Cleac'h, recently won the Azimut Challenge with about 40 days to go before the start of the Vendee Globe.
This morning, Banque Populaire rolled out the design for BP IX, a new solo maxi trimaran that is 32 meters long and 23 meters wide. She's scheduled to be in the water in July 2017.
