Annapolis Green is organizing a clean-up and refresh of the Ellen O. Moyer Back Creek Nature Park, sponsored by Bud Light and Keep America Beautiful. It is one of 60 events around the country encouraging young adults to contribute to their communities while having a good time too.
When: Saturday, July 26
8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Where: Ellen O. Moyer Back Creek Park on Edgewood Road and Port Annapolis Marina
The Do Good Part in the morning: Mulching, cutting back invasive bushes, planting new greenery, litter patrol from land and from the water in small boats
The Have Fun Part in the afternoon: A big party to celebrate at Port Annapolis Marina (right next door to the park) featuring Bud Light and a free lunch for participants.
Port Annapolis has donated the pavillion for this event and Annapolis Community Boating will participate as well.
