Busy Month! Day 100 was the start of the Great Chesapeake Bay Schooner Race, additional days getting Bennu up to Baltimore prior, the Parade of Sail, and Delivery home after. Some messing about it OPB to Thomas Point and drifting around, powerboat and sail. BCYA Race to Baltimore found us strugging under motor to get under the Key Bridge, saw a 42 knot gust in the sustained 30+. Frostbites have started.

Overnight trip to Anchorage Marina Baltimore to start 4th of July events, Round Bay for Sherwood Fireworks, MRSA WNR and EYC Beer Cans, putt putting around with OBP, highlight of July was Marblehead to Halifax race on Kyrie, just WOW! Lots of fog, lots of wildlife, lots of current, very little wind! A couple of on the water days in Halifax doing the tourist thing, cool ferry boat ride (they're a unique roundish design), and the Harbor Hopper (amphiboius land/sea) tour. Hey, it left the dock, it counts!!

Started June with Southern Bay Race Week post DTB Race, what a riot! Lots of bad weather, cold, rain, wind but still better than the A2B conditions! A pleasant overnight trip back to Annapolis, EYC Friday Night Beer Can races have started, first raft of of the season and practiced singlehanded docking and anchoring, then headed North to crew with friends on Kyrie for Block Island Race Week, an amazing week of sailing.

More variety, MRSA WNR, one of them as RC. Water Taxi Ride to visit friends at a mooring in DTA (and yes, Ballast was aboard for that), Sailing and powerboating with friends, NOODs aboard Ippon, and Bennu is getting a good start to the season with AYC Spring Oxford, EWE Spirit Regatta (although we couldn't finish that one), and Down the Bay Race where we didn't place, but Ballast won the HotDog TopDog award!

Finally getting some more time on the water this month! Quite a variety of boats, a dingy with an electric motor, Crew Boat Terrapin on a ride over and back for the Poplar Island Tour (way cool!), FunDays with Friend's boats (Ballast is loving the powerboat rides!), first MRSA Wednesday Night Race of the Season, and FINALLY had first sail of the season on my boat for the NASS Race to the Lighthouses!
