Its been awhile....time for an update in 2024!

Though Ive been out sailing...alot.... i havnt found the time this year to take 5 mins and upload a century club update! Ive been slacking this year with my updates. Its just been too busy... Even with stepping back from some extra sailing time i managed to be on the water at least 22 more time since my last "confession" lol. Wow what an up and down year it has been. With high-highs and low-lows... I am always thankful for my friends and family. They ether put up with my sailing or contribute to it! Gotta love it.

June/July 2023 update

This Summer has been an up and down roller coster, sailing has been the one thing to ground me. (Its funny reading that sentance back and thinking thats the one thing I havent done while sailing... grounding!) Between racing, crusing with new friends, vacation, and trips to see family dieing in hospitals...the crew and I of my boat the Barba Roja have mannaged to collect the awards that were out of my reach in previous years. Just resently was the Gov Cup race where we placed FIRST! I still cant belive it. Anyways hear is the list of dates to catch me up on the tracker here online:

May has been a tough month. With the loss of a close friend and teammate on Barbe Roja to suiside, I struggled to get the time on the water I planned. Sailing has been the best distraction that Ive needed each week from life over this past month.

Well... its been a fast paced month this month! With work sucking the life out of my season sailling schedule, I had to find time to get on the water, teach some sailing to kids, and upgrade my boat "some." Its not quite 100% yet... but im feeling realy good about everything and thats OK with me!

February 2023 Update

February has been a busy month! Lots of crusin around solomons with friends, and even some Fun racing! Well... 2 boats going in the same direction..lol. Fun times on the water happen year round!

January Update 2023

Ive been luck enough to beable to sail at least one day each week this month and some weeks even twice! I have a great group of friends who join me on the water and who also enjoy sailing. 

 

Jan 6th - Teaching Ms. Piper how to solo sail and handle a boat. Piper has plans to sail her own boat solo in the near future. Im trying to help teach her and give her the skills and knowledge to accomplish her goals.

Jan 15th - Out for a fun COLD sail with my gang! As Mr. Bob Olher said that day "Riding the storm out" as we sing along with the song! 

Jan 22nd - I snuck afay in the early morning to go solo sailing befor the family woke up. I do sometimes enjoy the peace of sailing alone.

Jan 24th - Hot Grilled Cheese Sammys and a rocket launch! what a fun night to be on the water with firends.
