Two half workdays equal a full one, and boy the results are great. First step was heat gun and scraping the old adhesive from where the chaps had been; second phase was using solvent to remove the last bits. Still have to fix the rub rail, but she looks so much better!

Caught a ride on Cloud 9 for the last Beer Can Race of the season - lovely night, lots of fun!
New gas and spark plugs really made a difference in the engine performance. Tooled around Spa Creek getting the feel of the dinghy/engine.
Sweetwater served as the committee boat for Friday night beer cans. Winds were strong at the start, but died - time elapsed with only one boat finishing the long course :-( but the experience was great!
Picked up the repaired Avon from Annapolis Inflatables and installed the old Yamaha - got it moving, but it clearly needs work!
Headed out around 4 pm and north under the bridge. We took the Annapolis bubble with us - blue skies and nice winds - while downtown looked to take on a nasty storm. Grilled chicken on the return while snapping shots of a glorious sunset, and dinner at the dock to cap off an amazing evening.
Jumped on Breakaway for a morning of race practice - winds did not cooperate, but as they say, a bad day on the water is better than any day on land...
Fixed the forward AC - barnacles clogging the lines! Aft AC sea strainer showed just how healthy the sea grasses are in the bay. Glad we got the boat cooled down, given the weather.....
Light breeze + flat water = morning paddle up Spa Creek
Too little wind for a sail - so it was a good day for a mid-day SUP up Spa Creek.
