  • Boomerang upwind leg early Sunday Morning
  • Good times at EYC for post race party

Great fun with our team, Corrine, Dale, Dan, Michael, Pablo and yours truly onboard for the annual Boomerang race. Thankfully no rain squalls, those all passed thru before the race; it turned into a beautiful night on the bay with the moon rising late.  Good times hanging out at EYC for the post race party and awards.

Short handed but we decided to race nonetheless, I renewed and certified my Foredeck Union membership with four mark roundings working on that pointy end including two spinnaker sets and douses. We had fun finishing in 3rd place. Great evening on the water.

Nice Southerly Breeze for the kick off of AYC's WNR series 2; still lots of smokey haze on the bay made it a challenge to see the marks. Nevertheless good fun, much rather be breathing smoke on the water than rush hour exhaust on the beltway.

Getting the bullet racing shorthanded with four of us onboard was a great way for team Avita to kick off WNR series 2.
