End of year sail on the West River on a Pearson
Century Club: Andrew Lam
I have a 49er??
Took her out with the co-owner and it was a blast.
Lots to learn, first skiff (haha I know it's a weird decision, but it was a good deal)
If anyone reads this, now accepting donations for boatwork and dreams of maybe going olympic haha.
Very, very spicy.
Bow on these boats in these conditions is fun.
What a great way to end a season with a new boat, new crew, new friends!!
Lots of lessons learned, one being, if you're in first rounding the mark, please know what the signal flags mean and when RC bans spinnakers.
Great experience on Navy 26s.
Cool fact about them is their tillers can spin a full 360 degrees and stop the boat very very quickly. Comes in handy when your crew forgets to tell you about channel markers you're about to hit.
ty university for flying me back home to race :)
Intercollegiate Offshore Regatta, or IOR is one of the biggest college keelboat regattas with over 30 teams this year competing at Larchmont Yacht Club to show off their big boat skills. My team raced in the One Design J109 fleet and placed second.
Sailing and Coaching with the Embry-Riddle Sailing team means a lot of days on the water. Practices W/Th/F most weeks (besides finals of course) with even more regattas most weekends.
Ida Lewis Distance Race onboard an R/P 86!!
Again many thanks to Oakcliff for inviting me onboard and giving me these opprotunities. Line honors for the race!
Midbow aka got to climb the 130' rig many many times. Its a good view
A week trip to MN with friends and going out on one of MN 10000s lakes on their fishing boat
Was invited to join the Oakcliff Sailing crew for their amazing youth 12mr Worlds campaign! Position: Midbow. Of course had to stay near the pointy end of the boat
PS. I got to helm the Courageous, US-26 12mr for the sail in.
Onboard 12 metre Courageous for the New York Yacht Club Annual Regatta.
