I needed to get the powerboat off the lift before it floated away. So I took it out for a cruise around the creek before I tied her up next to the floating dock. Water rose another six inches and was four inches over the fixed dock in the picture. About four feet above normal high tide.
Enjoyed another fun year of sailing, racing and photographing on Chesapeake. The year was delayed with the need to replace my lower unit on my outboard and significant work to replace the port side deck on Zombie my Tripp 33. But, once the season begain it was a great time. The racing season began with the Down the Bay race on Zomibe. Then the Log Canoe season began for my third year sailing on Mystery. Focal Point by Scout 187 ran great with its new lower unit and allowed me to photograph the Bay.
