We had our first sail of the season. As always I took the helm to take
our boat out of our slip. I motored out of our marina and headed down Langford Creek, into the wind. My husband hoasted up our Mailsail
and then I cut off the engine to sail quietly down the creek. It was beautiful!
after an hour of light 5-8 knots of wind and about 60•
we anchored at Cacaway Island for lunch.
my husband handled the anchor as I was at the helm.
While we were motoring back to our marina my husband suggested
that I take our boat into the slip. My husband was behind me the whole
way gently giving me directions on how to come into our slip!
SLOOWWW and BORING! And that is what I did to come into
our slip and enjoyed our first sail of the season!
