3-Day Cruise to the Chester R.

Enjoyed three days on "Summer Sun" with a couple of friends.  With a southerly wind helping us, we headed north from Galesville to the Corsica R., where we anchored on the first night in the bight between Town Pt. and Middle Quarter Cove.  The winds were blowing hard and right up the river on day two, causing us to abandon plans to go to Rock Hall.  Instead, we poked around to find an anchorage with better protection from the westerly winds.  We finally settled on an anchorage close to the mouth of Emery Creek, which was indeed a quiet, out of the way spot.  Day two was spent relaxing and listening to the wind. On day. three, the winds shifted to the north and aided us in our return trip to Galesville.
