Back down in Solomon's for Memorial day weekend and a very silly race on my brother's boat, the Spicy Meatball, a Chrysler Buccaneer. Light winds at the start and up back creek which built nicely as we got out in the creek. Took a different course than many of the racers which worked to our advantage and I managed headsail trim and a couple spin sets and douses with some coaching. We won the race with points from some frosty beverages including a surprise gift from another racer. After the race we went out on another friend's Pearson 31-2 and anchored out in the river to swim and swing off one of the halyards as a rope swing before sailing up to the Solomon's bridge and back. One of the best days I've had on the water in recent memory.
