8 am departure, 7 hour trip to Hampton, VA. My first day in shorts. Sunny in the afternoon with a high in the 70s. We motored until about 12:30 then sailed the last 2 hours in 6-8 knots of breeze from the SSE. We had dinner in the Surf Rider restaurant at Safe Harbor Bluewater marina. Steve and Will from NASA Langley joined us. After dinner we plan our Dismal Swamp passage.
