Got stuck on a call for work until 5:45, but got on the kayak by 6 p.m., just after sunset, and had a glorious ride. 5 kt winds with gusts to 10 from the NW kept me alert, and low water kept me from going all the way to the headwaters of Plum Creek, off the Severn, but it was a beautiful time for a 35 minute trip. Best part was that I only saw ducks -- still no powerboats on Plum or Valentine Creeks -- feels like this will be the last time this year that will be the case. 60+ degree air temp was really nice; looking forward to kayaking in shorts soon!
