Sail around Mattox Creek

The BoatUS app mentioned a small craft advisory as they were predicting strong winds as the day progressed.  It looked okay so I promised myself I’d only go out for a brief sail.  The winds were close to perfect, and a brief sailed into a couple of hours.  I could see the wind picking up and had no issue safely dropping the sails and motoring back to the dock.  The water was a bit too choppy to use the boat lift hence I decided to tie the boat off rather than risk cracking the hull again.  Lesson learned; I should have stuck to my original game plan of a brief sail.
