  • Not much wind this evening (spot me in the corner)
  • Today's route

Took the meatball out for my first solo trip. Decent conditions when I started getting the boat ready slowly fell away and there was patchy wind. I sailed behind Molly's Leg, tacked around the harbor a bit, and then sailed out into the river, and took a very leisurely downwind ride back. Everything went smoothly, I kept the boat upright, and I had a relaxing time so that's a win in my book.

Most of the setup and cleanup is pretty manageable but pushing the boat up the hill from the crane solo is pretty brutal. Glad to know I can do the whole process for the boat myself, and I'll certainly do a good bit of solo sailing next year.
