Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating (CRAB) strives to bring the amazing opportunity to spend time on the waters of the Chesapeake to groups of individuals who might otherwise be unable to, such as individuals with disabilities, wounded warriors, and youth from at-risk communities. With a volunteer team of over 100 individuals and a dedicated staff, CRAB is able to reach over 800 guests each year. Programs are held weekly April through October, and range from sailing camps and clinics to regattas. Guests are able to participate in group sails and recieve instruction, as well. CRAB operates out of Sandy Point State Park.
