The Back Creek Yacht Club’s annual Lobster Feast weekend June 24 - 25 at Wally and Molly Stone’s on Crab Creek had a large turnout. The lobsters Saturday night were great. Flip, Flop, and Drop, otherwise known as club officers, made their usual delicious omelettes for breakfast Sunday morning before the boats left for their trip home. The July 7 weekend gathering at Cindy and Westbrook Murphy’s home on Almshouse Creek featured fireworks and a picnic. July 12 a small group plans to enjoy supper and music at the Annapolis Maritime Museum. A picnic to celebrate Hot Dog Month will be held July 20 at Tony Cooks’ house on Spriggs Pond off the Magothy River. The group will cruise to Rockhall, MD, August 10-12 for Pirates Weekend, August 17-19 to Maryland Yacht Club, and August 31 to the Oxford Yacht Club.
