Mt. Gay Red Hat Photo Contest: A new fun feature to our 2024 Racing Results Email
Ask your crew to wear their Mount Gay Rum Red Hat and take pictures on the boat or the dock, because we have a fun new photo contest. Send your images to [email protected] by Monday morning at 9 a.m. each week. Our editors will choose the weekly winners and send out weekly Mount Gay Rum prizes, such as tumblers, socks, playing cards, and other fun items.
We will begin this contest as we relaunch the SpinSheet Racing Results Presented by Mount Gay Rum on Monday, May 6, the day after the Helly Hansen Sailing World Regatta Series Annapolis.
The winning photos will be displayed in an online photo gallery, and the top eight will be published in our October issue. The overall winner of the Red Hat Photo of the Year will receive a Mount Gay - Sea Bags bag. Every week, you may send your favorite Red Hat Racing photo to [email protected] for a chance to win prizes and swag.
The SpinSheet Racing Results is a Monday email containing links to regatta results from the previous weekend and weeknight races all over the Chesapeake Bay, plus a few important off-the-Bay events (think Charleston Race Week and Bermuda Races).
If you don’t already receive these results, all you have to do is sign up for our newsletter at the bottom of our home page, and check the “Racing Results” box. If you received our racing emails last year, no need to do more. You’re on the list!
So, go find your Red Hat collection (or get a new one at the Helly Hansen Sailing World Regatta), wear it, and start taking fun photos during or after racing with your crew. Questions? Email [email protected].
