Avoided the shutout

The only thing worse than having one outing for the season would be to have none.  Hard to believe November 6th was the first time on the water in 2022.  In September of 2021 our builder told us that our renovations would be done in April, and I was looking forward 100 plus days on the water for the second time.  Well that never happened but the house is now almost finished, and I got to get out on my kayak for a bit and avoided the shutout.
