Ok-So I am behind in my entries!!!
My boyfriend Ray and I had a great time in Bequia and Tobago Cays.....until our dingy motor cut out in Bequia....with $1k worth of groceries. We got a tow back to our boat, then headed to Martinique. No parts there so we left for SXM which we know very well. We were surprised Yamaha in SXM nor Miami had the parts (lower unit issues) and were told 3 weeks-3 months wait. We didn't want to stay on the dock at $120 a night for up to 3 months so were able to get a $900 used engine while we wait. 15 hp feels like week sauce compared to 20 hp. But SXM has always been a favorite and a great place to get things done. Lots of extra provisions, dog vet visit, hair, nails, etc. and we have lots of friends here so love it!!!!
Working on prepping the boat for a long crossing in the next couple months so trying to get things all in order-just got a new freezer and spent today at the spa. Tomorrow will need to do some "work work" with real job but tonight is just chilling on the bow, little wine and probably writing some music which is my hobby.
