SpinSheet Reader Pirate Music Review

Any SpinSheet readers out there who would like to do a pirate music review of the Bilge Pumps' latest album "Bail Money"? If so, send an email with your name, address, and one line about why you're the right reviewer, and we'll send you the CD.

Rollicking between goofy pirate comedy music, somber and tragic stories of woe, and fun drinking songs, the Bilge Pumps' new CD takes traditional nautical tunes and gives them a piratical overhaul flavored with the band's brand of goofy comedy and musicality.

Recorded live at various venues from 2012-2014, "Bail Money" is the band´s first fully live album and it features eighteen tracks of music for that salty dog in everyone. Two of the tracks on the album feature the talented Celtic band Tullamore, and three of the tracks feature The Pride of Bedlam and Traveller Song.

The album contains new songs (both traditional and original) as well as newly recorded version of songs from the group´s out-of-print earlier CD's... including such classic songs as "The Gun Shanty" and the fan favorite "Johnny Jump Up".
