Organizers of the Newport International Boat Show announced on Monday that the 2014 show was a great success, with attendance up 5% over 2013, bringing attendance to its highest in a decade.
Some highlights of the show were the Gunboat 55, the Confident Captain At the Helm program, and the Sabre Yachts display. The 2014 award for Best Booth Design went to Dubarry, with Zim Sailing winning the Best Freestanding Booth. Exhibitors at Beneteau and Jeanneau won the Best in Water Display, while Hunt won it on the power end of things.
