Enjoying Happy Hour – CB2 Southern Bay Rally – 2011
This summer’s CB2 BOLD (Beneteau Owners Living the Dream) is slated to start on June 14. Our plans are to meet at Norfolk, VA, re-group and head south to Cape Charles and continue down through the Dismal Swamp ICW to Albemarle Sound. We will head north via the North Land River, an alternative ICW route with a stopover at Cape Charles harbor and then onto Annapolis and our home ports.
BOLD excursions are usually annual trips with the club. This past winter a few members headed south for the Bahamas, last July we traveled to NYC for the 4th of July celebration and then onto Block Island. 2011 we explored the southern parts of the Bay and in 2010 we enjoyed a Delmarva cruise. These extended cruises challenge CB2 folks to explore areas outside their comfort zones, hone their sailing skills and form some deep friendships.
