The Hunter SA’s (HSA) Fourth of July mini-cruise stayed on the Western Shore rather than venturing up the Chester River as planned. It took us to some old favorites like Harness Creek by Quiet Waters Park and the “horse farm” at Eagles Cove by Gibson Island.
The summer also served us up some great opportunities for ad hoc sailing with other club members. August Events include our Annual Baseball Raft, a pool party at Herrington Harbour South and a mini-cruise on the Patuxent. The ball game is August 3 when the Orioles host the Seattle Mariners.
We welcome members coming by car to join the dockside happy hour at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor Marina. If coming by boat, mention our club to get in on the group discount. The pool party and picnic is August 24. We’ll celebrate Labor Day in and around Solomons on the Patuxent River.
