Autumn is a great time of year. The Hunter SA (HSA) will welcome the season with a full moon night sail up Eastern Bay on Friday night September 20 then a trip over to Saint Mikes to welcome the autumnal equinox.
The BIG NEWS for the fall is the “Life After 40” reception with Gary Jobson and silent auction to benefit the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society at the Naval Academy on Friday evening October 11 during the US Sailboat Show. In August HSA sailed in to the Inner Harbor Marina and after a damp but lively happy hour, the rain subsided and the skies cleared somewhat, just in time for twenty of them to walk to Camden Yards. With the exception of a few passing rain drops, the rain gave way to a nice evening to enjoy the game. Sunday made for a hoot of a sail down the bay to homeports.
August fun continued with a Pool Party at Herrington Harbor then on the following weekend a Labor Day raft-up in Solomons.
