Steamed Crabs, Corn, and Lobster
A true feast a la Chesapeake Bristol Club.
On August 17, members of the Chesapeake Bristol Club (CBC) gathered at the Bay Ridge Community clubhouse for their annual Crab Feast and Gift Exchange. The party featured crabs, shrimp, lobster, and corn on the cob prepared by the Annapolis Seafood Market along with members' appetizers and desserts.
Afterward, it was time to find out what inside the wrapped gifts that are nautical items no longer needed by the owner. Each person picked a package in turn or take an item from another member. It is great fun to see what is one person's trash is another person's treasure.
Our club is open to all sailors who want to share the Bay and create memories. Our next event is the annual Oktoberfest October 5. There is still time to join our fall cruise September 8-14. For more information visit CBClub.info.
