I created our boating club about five years ago. Started with 4-5 of us and now we are approaching 800 members. The club name is Upper Chesapeake Recreational Boaters, or UCRB for short. Our members are the nicest, most charitable people I know.

I wanted to share the amazing kindness and charity my fellow boaters shared with families of kids with down syndrome, autism, etc. two weeks ago we took the kids and their families from Wilson point to a fun filled day spent at Hart Miller Island. What a blast! It was put tgether by Mary from BNC (Boater Nine Creeks) and we all had fun. We personally had Daniel Bowery and his family on our boat. You may remember him: he was the kid that got shot at Perry Happ High School last year. What an amazing guy!
I love our club and our members, they give give give! We do stuff like this, and cleanups, etc.
