On September 14-15, the North Point Sailing Association heldits Annual Fall Cruise, this year to Worton Creek. Nine boats with nineteen folks enjoyed a beautiful weekend in Worton Creek. Flukey and variable winds got the fleet there in a little more than three hours so there was plenty of time to get the hooks down and the raft assembled before a great dinner at the Harbor House.
After dinner the club assembled back at the raft and the Legendary Myth was the scene of great partying and socializing. Lots of music from Don Bradley, Chuck Levin, Mark and John O’Dell kept the party going. The party wrapped up around eleven to keep good relations with the others in the creek. After a glorious sunrise, club members started for home. Those who waited till late morning had a nice 12-14 mph southern breeze to carry them home. Next cruise is scheduled for October 24th – 25th.
