The January Annapolis Sail and Power Squadron dinner meeting is at the Annapolis Sheraton on January 5. Navy Commander Beth Sanabia (Ph.D.), from the U.S. Naval Academy, will speak about modern hurricane research. Dinner is $29.00 per person and the cash bar opens at 6:00pm for cocktails and socializing. See our Anchor Watch newsletter on our website for more information. If you are not interested in dinner you may want to give your boating a little class.

The Annapolis Sail and Power Squadron have planned two boating seminars to help chase away the winter blues; all are welcome to attend. Partners in Command is on January 14th, and Rules of the Road is on January 21st. Both start at 7:00 pm, cost is $45.00 each, and the location is at Bacon Sails & Marine Supplies. For class and seminar descriptions, costs, and registration information see the Annapolis Sail and Power Squadron website education page
