Nanticoke River YC's Veterans Celebration
Nanticoke River YC was the place to be on Saturday evening, November 16th. NRYC's Veterans' Celebration was a grand event, with great food and funny stories. The order of the evening was for our Veterans to share brief recollections of an amusing or somewhat hilarious story from their military experience. We have spent a lot of time commemorating the tragedies of war and service, but we all know there were stories that sustained our soldiers. Our Veterans' reflections did not disappoint us.
Our special guests for the evening were the Devil Dogs Detachment 780 of the Marine Corps League. Past Commandant Frank Tulley gave a reflection of his service. The Devil Dogs attendance, participation, and reflections were appreciated by one and all.
