The Patuxent River Sail and Power Squadron (PRSPS) celebrated its 61st anniversary at the annual Founder’s Day luncheon in Solomons, Maryland on February 9th.
Commander Wayne Rogers hosted the event and the Master of Ceremony was Bob Prior. New members were recognized and the history of the United States Power Squadron (USPS) and the PRSPS was reviewed by Bob Blevins. Pat Farrar presented “The Year in Review” which included acknowledgement of Laura Magdeburger who was recently awarded the “Certificate of Educational Achievement,” the highest level of educational achievement in the USPSs.
