HHSA Women Underway Meeting
Herrington Harbor Sailing Association held its annual Race Management Seminar at Herrington on the Bay on Sunday, April 13. Keith Mayes presented an engaging presentation on race committee duties, course layout and choices, as well as an overview of the rules of racing.
On May 23, HHSA held its Practice Race in preparation for Wednesday night sailing kicking off on the 30th. Our first cruise of the season, the April Fools Cruise, was led by Maris and Linda Eshleman on April 26-27 to Mear’s Marina in Oxford, MD. The first official Happy Hour with Painkillers by Maris preceded a group dinner at Lattitude’s Restaurant.
Our Women Underway group continues to grow in participation. They held their monthly meeting at the Slipholder’s Lounge at Herrington Harbor North on April 3rd.
