The Jeanneau Sailboat Owners (JSO) had a wine tasting raft up a few weeks ago. The original destination was the Sillery Bay in the Magothy. However, there were strong winds that day creating quite a chop. As a result, the raft up moved to the beautiful anchorage called the Horse Farm. About 7 or 8 boats attended.
The winds calmed and a beautiful day was enjoyed with perfect temperatures and a calm breeze. Wines from around the world were tasted and tasted again! Along with the great company of the JSO members, piles of delicious appetizers were enjoyed. The JSO has more exciting events scheduled this season, including a raft up in the Bodkin this July, watching Log Canoe races in September a gathering in the Eastern Bay and more.
