Jeanneau owners celebrated the Summer Sailstice with a Jeanneau Chesapeake Rendezvous on June 20 through 22nd. The Jeanneau Sailboat Owners (JSO) group in conjunction with Jeanneau America and local dealers organized this celebration. It was a spectacular weekend with 20 boats and 60 members attending at Herrington Harbor North. As members arrived Friday night, the Jeanneau Banners began to fly. A welcome reception with appetizers, spirits and then a BBQ dinner followed. The rain held off Saturday to allow for a seminar on spinnakers conducted by Quantum Sails. The Annapolis School of Seamanship held a seminar on i navigation and the Chesapeake Bay Foundation held a presentation on eco friendly boating. The grand finale for the evening was a dinner and dancing event themed “a Night in Paris”. With members dressing in various French themed attire, a wonderful evening was had.
